Almost all timber floors make some degree of noise when they are walked on, particularly in periods of high humidity. Use dehumidifier or cooling the room can reduce this noise.

Newly installed timber floors may make some noise for the first month. After 4 to 6 weeks of normal traffic, this noise will reduce dramatically.
